Larssen Ltd has been designing and engineering the latest expansion at Sigg Plant in Finland. It went into production as planned on September 15, 2005. The project was made within a very short time period, but is nevertheless one of the most sophisticated greenhouse plants worldwide.
The project involved suppliers from more than 5 different countries.
The greenhouse is used for propagating tomato and cucumber plants year round. The plants are spaced automatically every 4th day creating an enormous flow and usage of the installed machinery.
